Vitreo Retinal Surgery
In retinal procedure we have our vitreo retinal surgery procedures that is very common intraocular surgery. In vitrectomy, vitreous is removed during the surgery. Vitrectomy is done in the diagnosis like retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular pucker, macular holes, vitreous haemorrhage or vitreous floaters. These Vitrectomies are done:
- Core Vitrectomy
- Diabetic Vitrectomy
- Pars Plana Vitrectomy
Intravitreal Injection
Intravitreal injection is used to directly inject the medicine at the back of eye and adjacent tissues. There are various retail diseases in which intravitreal injection is used to cure the symptoms.
Scleral Buckling
Scleral Buckling procedure is done to cure the retinal detachment and retinal tear. It’s a 1 to 2 hours procedure and very safe.
Cyclocryotherapy
Cyclocryotherapy is done to destroy ciliary body in the anterior chamber to treat refractive glaucoma or high intraocular pressure.
Dropped Nucleus/IOL Removal
Both these procedures are done successfully in our centre.
